Supporting a network with additional faculty, staff and student PC support demands for both work and personal computers was draining his two-person IT staff so Jeff Cunningham turned to Pano Logic. Jeff cut his energy costs in the computer labs by replacing PCs with the power-sipping Pano Devices, which draw less than 5 watts, connecting to Pano Logic virtual desktops, which slashed the amount of time spent on support and maintenance. Faculty members requiring specialized math and statistics software can now access the applications on their virtual desktop from home, saving on licensing costs. Read More

Facing a costly PC refresh for the police department’s on-board PCs in the police cruisers, Paul Desjardins deployed Pano Logic instead and brought about huge improvements in police productivity. He stripped down the existing units and set up patrol officers with Pano Remote, a secure flash drive loaded with an application that enables any Internet-enabled PC to access the user’s virtual desktop. As a result, police officers are able to access more information from the field as well as work on and submit incident reports from anywhere. The mobility of Pano Logic has also been a huge hit with the City Manager and other department heads. Read More
