Sample Materials available for download for the Starter Kit
The online help for the Starter Kit includes sample materials to help you quickly install and evaluate the Pano System - these sample materials include:
A
Sample Test Plan (as a Microsoft Word 97-2010 RTF file) to help document your installation and evaluation - it describes the target user scenarios and workloads (or Use Cases) being tested as well as the server, software and infrastructure configurations used.
A Sample Use Case (as a Microsoft Word 97-2010 RTF file) is provided to serve as a template to ensure that your evaluation will closely match the configurations and workloads of future VDI production deployments. The use cases can also help when later setting up DVMs and data center infrastructure for your VDI deployments.
A VDI Business Case Model (supplied as a Microsoft Excel xls file) that calculates the overall CapEx and OpEx financial benefits of deploying VDI, along with the environmental impact. We also provide a detailed TCO Model to help you calculate OPEX savings and prepare detailed reports along with determining the optimal server and storage configurations for your VDI deployment plans.
