Pano Express HA provides everything needed for a high availability, fault-tolerant 30 to 60 seat Pano virtual desktop deployment. Although it comes with the infrastructure software already preinstalled and preconfigured on the servers there is still some preparation needed before deploying it to users on your network.
Follow the steps below to get your Pano Express HA up and running quickly.
Step 1. Inventory Components to ensure that you have all of the necessary hardware and software components.
Step 2. Perform a Site Assessment to ensure that you are ready to deploy the Pano Express HA on your network and collect information needed for the setup process.
Step 3. Conduct a User Survey to collect the information needed to prepare your desktop virtual machines (DVMs) with the correct settings and applications.
Step 4. Install and Connect Servers to install the Pano Express HA servers and connect them to each other and to your LAN.
Step 5. Configure Servers to run through the setup process and prepare the default DVM template for your users.
Step 6. Deploy Panos to distribute the Pano Zero Clients on your production LAN, and test connectivity.Step 7. Provision DVMs including creating collections, assigning users/clients to DVMs, building templates, and provisioning.
Step 8. System Shutdown (optional) if you need to shutdown the servers and VMs to perform system and site maintenance.
After setup there are a number of Customize and Administer tasks you can perform to extend the default installation, perform periodic administrative tasks, optimize performance, and troubleshoot problems.
