Benefits from the Pano Cloud portal include:
- Easy – once enabled, all of your Pano Controller for Terminal Services servers auto-enroll with the portal. Standard web protocols are used, eliminating any need to reconfigure firewalls.
- Secure – each admin is limited to only the servers they've been able to identify via the server's MAC address. All communications are encrypted using industry-standard HTTP and SSL secure web protocols.
- Productive – all of your server can easily be monitored and managed from anywhere via the portal, improving IT productivity. Email notifications from servers alert admins to issues with their servers, ensuring minimal user downtime.
- Remote Office – allows you to run Pano System for Terminal Services servers as headless appliances in each or your remote or branch offices. Once enabled, all management of your servers can be handled via the portal without needing an on-site visit or complex VPN connections.
Accessing the Pano Cloud portal only requires an Internet connection and a web browser compatible with Adobe Flash content. Once you've logged in to the portal you can register your servers via their MAC address and select any of them to get full access to the server's Pano Controller console.
Any admin or service provider can register for an account on the Pano Cloud portal - you do not need to be a licensee of Pano System for Cloud. Simply navigate to
cloud.panologic.com and click on the link to register as a new user.
Note: servers running Pano System for VDI are not supported on the Pano Cloud portal. Because you typically need to access platform-specific virtualization tools like VMware vCenter Server, just providing remote access to the Pano Controller console still wouldn't allow for complete remote management of Pano System for VDI servers. And the optional Pano Maestro component provides the same access to all of your Pano Controller for VDI consoles within your intranet or LAN.
