![]() | John Kish is a veteran technology executive and server-based computing visionary who brings more than 20 years of successful corporate leadership while championing new innovations that solve complex business challenges. John served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Oracle and as Assistant to the President, worked closely with Larry Ellison as the company grew from $125 million to $2 billion. John is widely recognized as having established Oracle on the desktop. During his tenure, the Oracle Desktop Products division expanded to more than 400 employees and over $400 million in revenue. He went on to challenge the high cost of computing, becoming CEO of thin client maker Wyse and advocating a move to a server-based architecture. During his tenure at Wyse, John came to understand how the complexity and lingering high cost of thin client architectures were stalling the widespread adoption of server-based computing. He assumed leadership of Pano Logic to take up the mantle of zero client computing, which eliminates endpoint device support and maintenance entirely and centralizes 100 percent of computing on the server. In addition to his work at Oracle and Wyse, John has held executive roles at five early stage companies. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and holds a Ph.D. in mathematical logics from The John Hopkins University. |
