In March 2008, Gartner computed that total cost of ownership (TCO) of a Desktop PC could be as much as $5,867 per year.  Gartner also stated, “the emergence of alternative client architectures provides the opportunity to reduce client computing TCO.”  Here we are, 3+ years later. Not all VDI Clients were up to the PC Challenge

Recently Pano Logic conducted a hands-on user experience test comparing a range of VDI clients to PCs at the BriForum event in Chicago. The results clearly show that Pano Zero Clients are superior to both the Wyse P20 and the Wyse Xenith.  And it confirmed that user experience is finally no longer an obstacle to widespread adoption of zero client VDI over PCs.
